After receiving 4 different quotes and checking with Home Depot on the cost of materials I choose Georgia Deck Design to build my new deck. I also looked at a deck that Georgia Deck Design had recently built in my neighborhood.
My due diligence was rewarded with a good job and a nice new deck built to specifications. I choose Wax impregnated treated wood for the deck material and am very pleased with this choice. Georgia Deck Design workers were very precise in their measurements and all fitted pieces are well done. The price for my deck was right and I feel I got more than my money's worth.

This company was wonderful to work with. They showed up when they said they would and were very clean and nice and the quality of work is excellent. They went out of their way to clean up each night before leaving the worksight. That is unheard of today. They also go to the extra effort to round the corners on all of the wood so that there are no rough edges and they sand and smooth the wood. I could not have been more pleased with a contractor. I am very glad that we chose them.

Commencement and completion of my deck were two to three weeks behind the dates originally agreed to, but the results were worth waiting for. The workmanship and attention to detail are outstanding. I do need to say this about the delay in the project: Georgia Deck Design was aware of not having kept with the original schedule and once they began work, they put additional people on the project and finished in three days. I have no reservations whatsoever in recommending this company.
